This relief shows the seated father of the gods Zeus, his beloved Leto and their children Apollon and Artemis.
In Brauron, an ancient place in Ostattika, this pond relief was found in the sanctuary of the goddess Artemis Brauronia. It is dated to the end of the 5th century BC, original size 1.03 m x 0.81 m, exhibited in the Brauron Museum under the inventory no. 12.
The replica shows the right half of this relief, the light god Apollon and his sister, the goddess of hunting, Artemis.
