Original at the Acropolis Museum
Kore (Greek "girl"), a modern term for archaic statues of girls,
which were found as a consecration gift in large numbers on the Acropolis in Athens and other places of worship in Greece.
Also synonymous with beams, for example the Korenhalle am Erechtheion in Athens. In contrast to the naked Kuros (Greek "young man"), the Kore was depicted as a robe statue.
Dated 510 B.C., Acropolis site, where it also remained as an exhibit in the Acropolis Museum under inventory number 643. Replica original size. This exhibit is also available as semi-plastic wall decoration - of course without base - for € 45,-. Please have a look at "Masks".
